What to do at the new forest
Going there for a few days. Forest Lodge hotel in Lyndhurst.
Anything in particular I should be looking out for with a 7 year old in tow?

Paultons Park ... just a few miles away.
LEPE ... for a good beach type trip out.
Burley ... for an Ice Cream with Toppings of your choice.
Bolderwood ... to see the deer - guaranteed sightings.
Moyles Court ... for a typical New Forest scene.

Can't recommend this place highly enough if it's your thing. Damned awkward to get to unless you're in the area, so a golden opportunity. Enough to keep a 7 year old entertained too.
