Something is making small holes in my clothes
I know this is a really strange question but small holes about 1 or 2mm keep appearing in my clothes. It's really starting to **** me off as I've just had to chuck out a new Fred Perry Tshirt that cost about £40-£50.
First idea was the washing machine but I have gone through the drum and can't find any bits that it may snag.
Checked the dryer.
Checked the ironing board.
Checked the iron.
Anyone come across this before or have any more ideas.

I had thought of that but looking at pictures online and reading google the eggs seem to lay for months before hatching. As It has just happend to a new Polo shirt I can't see it being that.

Do you use a tuble dryer?
Its either the tuble dryer or your washing machine and before you say no its not ask yourself this, do you put items in with zips on? do you do them up?
I got the same and couldnt for the life of me work it out, then one day I could here one of the zips rattling arounf the dryer. bingo. I now zip everything up and not had a re-occurance. it may be total co-incidence but it works for me.

Moth damage is usually restricted to 100% wool; wool & silk and mohair. Other mixtures dont seem to catch their eye. Ive had a couple of very expensive suits ruined by the little f*ckers, so I now keep anything tasty in a suit bag: and I kill every moth that I see.

Had moths in the wardrobe before; only ate the 100% pure wool tops (typically had a munching fest on my favourite jumper ), Anything poly/cotton/wool mix they didn't touch.
We also have the buggers in the lounge carpet (case moths). And have to keep shifting the furniture to vacuum up the larvae (its the larvae that eat the wool, not the moths). Any moth seen flying around gets swatted on sight.
If its cotton or poly shirts it won't be moths, very likely to be something in the washing machine; pull back the door seal and look under the folds, last check I did gained me 25p, a safety pin and a broken zip pull.
Other than that its cloths being washed/dried with it, usually wimmin clothing with the jingly blingy bits, buttons and zips.
