AAAGGGGHHH Ebay again!
I bought an in-dash 6 disc CD changer for my wife's car and it been delivered in a Jiffy bag. Luckily, I opened it in the Post Office to check that it's okay, but it rattles. So I've refused to accept it.
Why are people so stupid as to put a £100 piece of electrical equipment in the post in a Jiffy bag?
Now, I've sent the seller an Ebay email and also opened a paypal dispute, question is will I get my £100 back?
F**king people

I'd say yes, Paypal will be on your side. Seller should have insured the item thru Royal Mail if you had to sign for it, (that's what I do).
PITA, but you should be ok. Communicate with the seller, don't nark him off for his bad mistake.

i got a similar case going on with paypal, that ends tomorrow. Paid for a phone from a guy in wigan, paid £5 postage, anyway almost 2 weeks later and still no sign, he has called me all things under the sun, in the last conversation with him he stupidly admitted that he had sent the parcel 2nd class and it cost him £1.40 - and it was sent in a jiffy bag.
does my head in, why people cant just use there brain and put things like this in a box and pack it well AND actually send it the service people pay for.

Paypal have found in my favour but they want a tracking number from me returning it to the sender! WTF, I didn't sign for it so I haven't paid for it to be returned, so no tracking number. It's on it's way back via the Post Office (return to sender - delivery refused) who for once are actually being quite helpful, so far.................
I've spoken with the manager at the Post Office and he advises that the item will be sent back and can be tracked using the same tracking number that it was sent with. I've asked the seller to send me the tracking number, but as yet no response.
Now, if the seller doesn't respond, I have to try and explain to Paypal.

Its nothing but aggro with ebay these days! I just opened an account in my name and all my payments received through paypal are held until the buyer leaves feedback, which could be any time up till 21 days when its automatically released!!
