Do you means scammers, people selling their lives, kiss and tells,..... what?

Lying to make a sale, setting much higher prices than whatever they have truly costs. Items described as perfect turn out to be rubbish. Its nearly impossible to find bargains anymore.

lol some good examples above.
I dont think Ebay has changed, its always been a lottery unless its a seller you have used over and again.
People over pricing things, dont wanna pay it, dont buy it. Bit of a stiff reply but the truth. Like people that buy things on ebay then moan about the postage etc.... simple, dont bid or buy it now.
I know where you are coming from but I really dont think much has changed in the last 3-4 years.
On the flip side, you say almost impossible to find bargains, so the opposite could apply. Whats with people wanting things for a knock down price these days, whats wrong with paying the price advertised.
Not saying that, but relevant.

It does seem that sales staff are getting more desperate these days. Had some woman ring up my mum claiming that she had previously called and discussed the sale with my dad, and that he had approved the deal. All the sales staff needed were her credit card details to process the order now that it was in stock.
Thankfully my mum had the sense not to proceed with the transaction before chatting to my dad. It was quite clear that he had never had such a conversation with these people. Quite underhanded to try it on with older people making it out that their partners have approved the deal.....

Was this a genuine company or just someone collecting credit card details.
Wrong is wrong, but unfair to compare genuine companies to the growing number of blatent scammers.

Ask Glaxo/Smith/Kline. They are charging the country £6 for each dose of a vaccine which costs £1 to produce!
Its endemic these days in so many ways, led by the example of our politicians of course.

Not sure about making a fast buck but "customers" are becoming completely unreasonable when it comes to paying for electrical products.
I also think that electrical retailers need to stop devaluing their products and just politely refuse to discount items that are already that a realistic price point. From working in RicherSounds for many years I find it easy to see why the economy is so poor at the mo as big businesses are trying to undercut eachother so badly that no one is making money, thus there is no winners.
