Why does every thread with a sniff of motorsport theme get moved
I mean, fair enough if it was just a post regarding a race etc, but surely a major story like MS coming back into F1 is a big enough thread to keep in NSR?

I know what you mean as it's almost more of a news story than a sports story and in this case I think you are right.
However it hacks me off when people post football related tosh in here so I guess I shouldn't complain when F1 stories get moved to sport.

It is especially frustrating when you consider that COB can post a thread about fixing a fecking toilet in NSR, even though there is a 'DIY' section! The mods either cover everything or nothing.
No one goes in the motorsport section anymore, leave it in NSR thanks very much!

I could move it. But I can't be arsed to click on the relevent boxes

Yes; Its voluntary based upon how much free time I have. If it was paid I may put aside more time to do said tasks
Anyhoo: Main point, people should really stop getting so offended about getting a thread moved. Its just the internet, if there is a more relevent forum for the thread's topic, then the thread can and may get moved there.
On that basis, if people want me to, I can pull my finger out and move this to policy
(and if anyone wants the massa thread to be moved, I'll be happy to oblige )

Can this thread be moved to muppets?
Seriously, it's a right pain, Schumacher back in F1 is a major news story and it will be lost in Motor Sport General.

I like to... move it.
Of course such threads should be moved. What's the point having sections for different subjects if we just post everything in NSR? If you're interested in motorsport, you post in the motorsport section, if you're interested in DIY, you post in the DIY section, if you're too f*cking lazy to work out which section is correct, you just post your thoughts firmly up your ar$e.
Oh, and this system also prevents the posting of boring duplicate threads from people who didn't bother checking that the subject had already been covered in the correct section in the first place.

I can see the point here, the Schumacher thread is already very popular, why hide it away. Surely the idea is to encourage traffic, and interaction on the forum, not lose it in unused subsections of the forums?
While I appreciate there is a motorsport forum, that almost means NSR is for anything non.. scooby. drivetrain, driving dynamics, suspension, wheels tyres brakes, lighting, styling, interior, project, ICE, security, insurance, car care, suppliers, retailers, private sellers, wanted, group buy, ireland, scotland, wales, england, scoobylive, TOTB, trackday
biker, computer, DIY, photo, sport, motorsport, Adult....
NSDDSWTBLSIPISICSRPSWGISWESTBCDPSMAR
Not right is it
But then I guess that would make for a long section name, so maybe NSR is for the best lol
