Oh he'd suggest what i was buying was far too much and would recommend bolle esp glasses at around £8 anyway.
Right went for these instead after lots of damned searching.
Rudy Project Rydon Glasses - ImpactX Photochromic Clear Lens - £119.99
Apparently oakleys are for fashion tarts these are the ones for performance, anyway they go from clear to dark, saves me faffing around with lenses, shame they weren't polarised as well.
Right must get around to selling my persimmon radar lenses to get some coin back.

Oakley for me, have always had a couple of pairs on the go for the last 10 years or so. Main bonus is they have great customer support and aftercare which means you can get repairs done very easily and often FOC.....

A girl after my own heart .....
Thing is, if I bought an expensive pair of glasses (i.e. anything over £15!) the first thing that would happen is that they'd fall under a car or I'd sit on them and break them. So a sub-£5 pair lasts for ever ....

Never spend much on sunglasses, not a snob in that respect. Why spend £100 on a pair of something that will get broken within the year. I buy Foster and Grant from Matalan usually!
