Default Classic choons (non cheese please!)

Hi all, as some of you know, I've got my debut DJ set coming up next Friday (31st).

Anywho, I've sifled through all my more recent choons (2008-2009) and got about 500 CD's to take with me (no space for my trust 1210's and vinyl unfortunately).

Basically the night I'm promoting and DJ'ing is called "Simply Ibiza" and I will be playing a Trance & Progressive set, with a few classics thrown in.

So I'm after suggestions for Trance & Progressive classics. Got a few written down, but the more the merrier. I wanna take as many options as possible so I've got something for every scenario.

Muchas maracas,

Andy

Praga Khan-Injected With A Poison
Any classic Prodigy-Everybody In the Place would be a good one.....
I may be blown off the planet for this but Snap-The Power rips it up, still.
Joe Smooth-Promised Land
Frankie Knuckles-Your Love

Think For an Angel would always go down well, but may be a bit over-played with a new mix out this year?

Ah, thanks.

Got the recent Martijn Ten Velden Remix of Chime, so will use that.

Anything from around the years of '96-2002 really. I have to mix the set with the right blend of classics and new stuff.

I'm sure this will go down a treat - YouTube - Dj Gillies - Cool your Engines

Bit of a car theme going on there as well so a chance to say a bit about yourself in your set.

calling Sandstorm and Time To Burn, Cheesey and FAIL is a bit thick, a bit like calling the I-pod a FAIL because it has had world wide success.

I personally would love to hear them in a club again but whether or not i'd have the ***** to play them myself is another matter. By playing generic Trance Anthems a name for yourself, you will never make.

just being critical of what is good and not good.

I would suggest Warrior - If you want me. There is a few non-flocal versions which are awesome

Possiblely the best Trance track ever.

Well, i suppose it depends on taste. There is plenty of popular tunes, doesnt make them good though does it because some 12 year old has been buying them.
