Watched it on BBC and the suspension part just bounced up from the track and hit his helmet
Fractions of an inch the other way and it would have gone right through his visor!!!

Ferrari released the following statement.
Update on Felipe Massa's conditions
Budapest, 25th July 2009 - Felipe Massa has undergone surgery this afternoon at the AEK hospital in Budapest and the outcome of the procedure was positive. Now, Felipe will remain under observation in intensive care.
An update on his condition will be issued late tomorrow morning.
