Looking to change from BT to a cheaper option. I've notice Virgin are doing broadband, TV & phone for £19.95 a month.

Anyone with these and can they recommend them or any others....

Im on 20mb, with landline and TV and i think the monthly bill is £37.

oddly enough i was on this service for the last few years and paying £42, but after a phone call to them they seemed to go round in circles about 30 times, and that the price they came up with!.

I did contemplate going for the 50mb, but tbh, i really dont think i`d use it!, 20mb really is fash enough for most internet users/downloaders.

so for ME yes its FREE. (also i dont pay the internet bill! my parents do as they got it all as a package, and didnt want the modem!)

We have been with them for like 15 years so there is a Loyalty discount in there somewhere, i`ll know exactly what they did when the bills start coming in!

I have not had to many problems and been with them for since the old NTL days. I have fiber optic broadband and its great.
Only problem is Setanta has gone and ESPN are yet to seal the deal with the football.

When I lived in a cabled area I used them for broadband which was 99.9999999% of the time fantastic.

On the odd occasion it did go down the call centre would go through about 20 different things before deciding it needed an engineer visit. Invariably it was back up 3 or 4 hours later.

Very frustrating.

Broadband is good and only had an issue once and I do get the 20mb they suggest rather than the usual BT UPTO MB rubbish.
they are doing 50mb broadband just now for £30 although thats maybe not a cheaper option.

A few mates have started taking 02 broadband as they are doing "up to" 20mb for only 7 bucks if your on 02. (non cable phones)

There are plenty of good deals. I was on the website earlier checking the packages on my bill and you can get 20mb BB, all TV channels (excluding sky movies and sports) and the phone line with free calls for 50 quid
or a lot less if you dont need fast bb and tv etc. I think all 3 cheapest was 20 quid
