Why mock the afflicted, he thinks he has a GSI due to a DVLA typo, nobody is ever going to by it as its tragic.

It is funny what people think they can get away with. From what I remember of that age of Vauxhall there were only 2 types of GSI Astra. 2.0 8v and 2.0 16v, neither of which he claims to have

I don't normally do this but I had to send him a question to try and make him see sense.

"Honestly mate, please realise that the DVLA have made a mistake(yes, this does happen) The car you are selling is not, and never has been, a GSi.

What sounds more realistic to you?

a)Vauxhall designed and produced an ultra-rare GSi cunningly disguised as a 5 door 1.6 GLS, minus all the usual GSi trimmings of skirts, bucket seats, lowered suspension and engine(!)that doesn't appear on any Vauxhall spec sheets of the time and has never been seen before

or

b)a mistake has been made at registration of the car and someone typed GSi instead of GLS?

You're really not helping yourself by carrying on believing otherwise and pretty soon this auction will be a laughing stock in internet forums worldwide. Save yourself the effort and realise that it's a mistake and relist your "modified" Astra 1.6 GLS."

Looking forward to his reply...

The questions are hilarious.

Why try and pass it off as GSI?

His pretend GSi is red with black GSi bumpers.

His other items for sale include standard mk3 Astra bumpers in red.

A fool and his money etc.

That deserved a message from me too.

Mate, wake up! A five door GSI only exists in your head. Contact Vauxhall head office, not the dealers but the main office and ask them to check the VIN against their productions records. You'll probably find it rolled off the lines with its GLS siblings. At a long shot though, and it is only a long shot, someone at Elsmere port might have been bored and made a one off on their lunch break, might be worth asking them. DVLA do make mistakes, yes really they do! It doesn't matter how many websites you check for the car identity because guess where they get their information from? Guessed yet? Wait for it..........yes, DVLA! WOW! Who would of thought that!
Get a grip mate, it's a normal Astra which has been molested and had a badge slapped on it.

By trying to prove they did a 5 door Gsi he blew his own argument up, yes they did do a 5 door Gsi but it was a 2.0l lol.

The spelling is truly superb, now I'm not one to pick up on spelling etc because people do make mistakes but exshorst and futcher really bugged me.
