How annoying is that guest? If he was a friend I feel I'd forever want to hit him.

:worried and near death:

I got in from work at about 20.30, arsed about having summat to eat, checked my emails etc and then looked here. Top Gear, how could I forget?! As I was away I missed the first two episodes and got my bro' to come in and set the Sky box, I just checked and thank foof he's series linked it! Now I read this thread and it seems I may have missed the start, I'm too scared to go look!!!

It'll be on iPlayer by 9.30 or so ! I hope, as the live streaming from bbc,co,uk is pants. If you want to acquire the first two, get an app like iPlayer Grabber to rip it from the BBC service

I don't see why the BBC seem to love him.

The Ken Block thing was good but I don't see him doing anything that Petter Solberg or any of the WRC drivers couldn't do in their sleep. The most impressive thing was the timing to get the car/bike jump and the aircraft in the same shot (assuming it wasn't put together digitally, which I hope it wasn't).

Agreed, I thought he was pretty funny! Especially his impression of over-taking a Porsche in his Austin Princess or whatever it was!!

The bit with the Scooby was quite impressive, but a bit random as well, there was little point or much introduction - just a Scooby racing about!

It can't be genuis every week I suppose!

Well the plane wasnt actually there at the same time as the car and bike, but its only a small 'split-screen' cheat Worked well! I too missed the start due to EPG saying it started at 2015 and those two over-long features on dull small cars suggest there is better to come (although their budget has taken a hammering for this series)!

Good to see them actually looking at realistic cars, even if only for comedy value. The Merc was about the same review as the last stupidly powerful Merc when it couldn't set off with a tug'o'war team holding it back, but well filmed. The Ken Block thing was a bit of a let down. Amazing cinematography, but felt pointless. I enjoyed McIntyre, a bit of a hyperactive gibbering upper-class twit, but funny. The news was much better, actually being mostly about cars and genuinely funny.

Not much. Just that if you're looking for a cheap small car, then its the one to buy.

I thought the bit with James May carting about that giant St Bernard in the passenger seat was absolutely hilarious

Loved the "protest" out side of Parliament over loud speakers attached to the roofs of the cheap cars!

"2,4,6,8, Jackie Smith's husband likes to masturb.... Oh wait, I can't say that!"
