I think I have a mouth ulcer
Had loads over the years, but this is between the wall of my mouth and where my wisdom tooth is coming through. This means I have to force the side of my mouth to one side in order to see it.
Its appears to be a white lump and is causing me quite a lot of discomfort.
That along with my man flu is making me feel really miserable.
Any suggestions ?? its more of a face ache at the moment than the sting I normally feel from them ...

I've always used Bonjela and found that it relieves the pain for a while but as soon as you start eating it's painful again.
A few months ago they released Bonjela once. It's supposed to get rid of ulcers straight away with no need to re-apply. I was suitably sceptical but I bought some (£8 for 2 applications!!!) and tried it. It's brilliant. The ulcer went all white but the pain disappeared immediately. The next day I could just about see where the ulcer had been.
I've still got my second application but haven't needed to use it yet. It's basically a hollow cotton bud with pink liquid inside. You snap one end and the pink stuff flows in to the cotton bud end and you apply to the ulcer.
Highly recommended but might be difficult to apply to the back of your gob.

Bonjela has always cause the ulcer to get worse first before better for me ...
I'll try this one though .. on your word .. but I'm coming for you if it hurts me

I should warn you then, when you first touch the cotton bud to the ulcer, there's literally a split second of "f*@k me" but while you're holding it on there (5 seconds) you don't really feel anything.

Adcortyl gel. You have to buy it at a chemist but its alot stronger than something like bonjela. It does tend to make it a tad more painful and the gel makes your mouth feel a bit weird on application but it does work.

Corsodyl mouth wash works for me. Or Iglu, but corsodyl seems to clear them faster, and used regularly stops things like mouth ulcers.

There may be a double post..... LOL
Triamcinalone Acetonide....seems to ring a bell for Adcortyl in Orabase from my training a few years ago LOL. Not sure it's needed here
Seems like pericoronitis

Been the dentist and he said my wisdom teeth are catching the side of my mouth .. if it goes on for a while they will consider removing my teeth..
I'm really ill with flu so this is just depressing me ..
any suggestions for numbing it ?
or is it the same as the stuff for an ulcer

Found this stuff on holiday in Canada. Its a little messy if you apply too much, but fantastic at healing mouth ulcers very quickly.
