We have a slightly different concept, wife has a Fiat 500 (old one) and I spend all my weekends under the ****** (the car, not the wife).

My scoob is weekends and nice days. I have a Mk3 golf driver as a daily. It doesn't look pretty but its been in the family for over 10 years and 90K so its a bit like an old sheep dog. Smells like it too.

It is surprising how much work you can find to do in such a little car! All worth it in the end though!

My brother in law has an old Jag/Daimler coupe (V12 I think) .
Only takes it out at weekends ,probably due to the fact it does about 10 mpg!!!!!

My Scoob is for weekends/fun.

I have a 306 D Turbo S for work which i'm currently driving very sensibly trying to see how many miles i can squeeze out of a tank, i'm at 230 miles done with just under 3/4 tank left

It's not particularly old, but it does tend to get used more on sunny weekends:

actually I have been driving it to work everyday for the past 2 weeks, as its my only car since I sold my Scooby, but in any case i drive it whenever i can weekend or not -- very easy to drive, comfortable suspension, which means it sits slighly higher on the road, so no problem with speed bumps

the third picture shows a boxed out section, this was to give the peddle box lots of room -- often a major complaint from anyone with big-ish feet

also the roof line is raised so when its got the hood up there is much more headroom - actually if i,m honest its nicer to drive (in all but the hottest of days) with the hood on, much less wind (and its much faster)
