I personally believe that once you break the law, the law shouldn't beable to protect you, so the police waterboarding some scummy drug dealer doesn't bother me. It becomes a grey area with the whole innocent till proven guilty thing though.
I've seen wee ******* taunt the police from time to time when in Belfast only for the Police to ignore it and it makes them look weak. I always hope when i see things like this that they would just beat the crap clean out of them with battons and leave them lying there as a message that this country ain't gonna take crap no more.....but then again you'll always get someone abusing the situation.

Funny this came up yesterday with a client being offered "services" to deal with a crippling bad debt incurred by a professional scammer (scammers not short of a few bob - country manor, bought title etc) by an unscrupulous individual.
Apparently one of the options he was offered was a more mild form of torture offered as an option which involve the person being tied and blind-folded,being drenched in a weak mixture of petrol with water. The final breaking point is where the blind fold is removed and a lighted flame thrown at them.
The idea is its a bit safer, but gives the same amount of realism.
(and for the record, he refused to take up these offered "services" )

I know a little bit about this one, It was'nt water boarding. the allegation is actually a head in a loo grange hill style.
It will not go anywhere, Its the BBC feeling like they have not had a police bashing story for a while, There are a few members on here (myself included) that would have dealt with the bloated blue corpses of people that have OD'd, and have had to deliver death messages to families.
If some scum faced dealer gets flushed (which I dont believe he did) he should count himself lucky he got arrested in the UK and not a country where the Police are not so forgiving.

Of course, the thing one should say when faced with this kind of evidence is that the first step in upholding the law is abiding by it!
Unfortunately for the criminals, Ns04 is in a very bad mood today, so....go for it MET!

People who make a living from stuff like this shouldn't be bothered about getting their heads dunked in a bit of water.
Any kind of organised crime is a sh*t life. Mainly seen as an easy way out, since not much effort is involved in getting into it. But it's anything but easy once you're in.
