Decent Hotel Near Knebworth?
Hi all
I'm going to see Metallica at Knebworth at the start of August and I just want to book a hotel room as soon as possible for obvious reasons.
Anywhere half decent, preferably not far from the A1(M)?
By half decent I mean not a travel lodge with a filthy bed.
Cheers
Alan

Depending on budget
1. Brocket Hall - Welcome to Brocket Hall
2. Coltsfoot Country Retreat - Luxury Hertfordshire Hotel in the UK
3. The Hotel Novotel Stevenage, , United Kingdom | Knebworth Park
Brocket hall if you wipe your **** on £50 notes after your morning dump.
Coltsfoot is very good indeed - not CHEAP cheap but it's one to go for if you want to impress a g/f or wife. food is good, rooms are good. only 4 miles from Knebbers so not gonna break the bank to get there/back.
£135 a night Bed / Breakfast for 2
Novotel has 24 hr room service and a bar etc and is a lot nearer and cheaper - good luck with booking online though.

Thanks for the info.
Jods - Not wiping my **** with £50 notes quite yet. I'd noticed Brocket Hall when I searched google though. Very nice, but no point spending that much when I'm going to be staying myself - went seperate ways with the g/f last month actually. . Just going to meet some pals who are camping down there.
Novotel is probably the way to go, unless I've left it too late. I'll try anyway. Getting a taxi will be next to impossible I imagine, so the nearer the better.
Room service is handy, but the bar is more important on this occasion.
Cheers
