Default Gordon Brown dragged from power kicking and screaming...

Thats my prediction for some time next week.

Once the Euro election results are in, and released I can see that email doing the rounds getting WAY over the 71 signatures it needs to force the leadership battle.
By the end of the week he will be gone.............. Or almost gone, but definatly out of control of his future.

Well as I am now on gardening leave from work due to my pending {albeit rigged} redundancy I hope he goes quick

I think the only way to solve thisproblemand put confiedence back into the country would be a general election, labour are finished in this government especially as internal support is faltering the only ones who are supporting are the ones who got the promotions.

Lets get it over and done with and start looking forward.

Give the people the choice.

Remember that the national debt when the tories were in was paid for by flogging everything off (rail, telecoms, airports etc), and they still messed it all up....
Now we even have a BNP MP I would hate to see what happens if you let the tories into power
Better the devil you know until this resession is over IMHO.

Isn't it great that Brown and Labour are labled as "finished" and yet nobody puts forward the solution, and a credible one at that, not one that will have us rolling around pissing ourselves laughing

Think of it this way, your houise is on fire, rthe brigade arrive, but as you have nowhere to move to, there is no point in the putting the fire out.

I would rather be up in the air for a bit, than under this shameful shower any longer.

OR, the correct analogy .....

Your house is on fire, all the street of houses are on fire, the person running your house has great experience of house fires and has put a sprinkler system in place .... it has activated.

Along comes Mr Tory - he owned your house before, but burnt it down and removed all the services.

Do you let Mr Tory in to run your house?

Or do you wait to see if the fine sprinkler system puts the fire out?

Yes, you wait ..... the very last thing you consider is letting Mr Tory in!

That's unless you are the inmate and it is a mental institution!

And that is the truth.

Jeez you really can spin anything cant ya !

Nope thats nothing like what I mean.

OK try again....

You're in a violent relationship, but because you have no new partner to run away with, you stay with the violent one.

YES we need to know whats on offer for the next bunch, but til this lot are on their way out, the next are almost irrelivent.

Im sure whatever we get next, even if not a whole lot changes in the first few days... As far as I am concerned, as long as they are not falling apart, fighting with each other, and so deluded that they cant tell no one likes them...... They will do for now.

You don't quite get this do you?

In a violent relationship ..... your ex arrives and offers to take you away, yes - it's Mr Tory.

Trouble is, 12 years ago he beat you until you nearly died .... but, now he says he has changed "give me another chance" he says.

Your current partner, however, has been great mostly - just lately he has started drinking ..... but is now on councelling and things look good for the future.

Do you run away with Mr Tory?

I think NOT!

Why would an arsonist put a sprinkler system in? That doesn't make much sense to me.
Do you wish to imply our PM has escaped from a mental institution.
Personally I hope he hangs on as long as possible - it's great entertainment!
I would maybe feel sorry for the guy - but for his continual disloyalty under the previous incumbent.
IMO, the poor b@stard is just not up to the job and he never was.

The problem with the sprinkler is their is not enough water in the holding tank and it cannot fill up quick enough, system is useless if it doesn't have the correct support system to power it....end result you waste gallons of water but still burn down.

spin that.

Oh I get it now, you are the sort of person that cant read a whole book, but the introduction and the last page.

You are skipping WAY too far ahead. No one said anything about the next step, or happily ever after... Just step one... GET OUT !

I will leave you to your wind ups now. Dont you ever get bored of trying to be clever ?

Well the holding tank was damaged so badly by Mr Tory when he lived there that it was a struggle to repair - but eventually over 12 years it was repaired and filled up so much it went into the overflow ..... this overflow fed the hospital next door, it also filled the schools and quenched the thirst of the elderly, poor and helpless (these had not seen any water because Mr Tory had diverted the water to his moat, and on which his duck house floated!!)

IF he can hang on to power up until the next election, and at the moment, that is one big IF, there will be tax cuts OK, to bribe the sheep, the not-very-intelligent, and those with short memories.

But we'll all be paying for those too............:mad;
