weird goings on with a mobile phone
Tonight: first I get my youngest ringing me to ask if everything is OK with my eldest who is working in Holland, since someone has rung him on his brother's mobile to tell him his brother is dead!
I try: I get a dutch voice answering, then after that, it goes straight to voicemail.
So I ring the hotel he's at.
THEY say he is OK, and about ten minutes later, he rings me to say he is.
BUT: The dutch people have been answering HIS number, telling his girlfriend he's with a dutch lass who's having his baby, and his best friend he's dead
What the flying fek can be going on? The phone hasn't been out of his possession.:confused :

Pleased he is ok
It is possible to clone the phones IMEI number but not so easily the phone number/sim card
Could be a 'cross line' issue and the dutch thinking this is humerous!!
Get him to check with his service provider and see if there are any abnormalaties on the account
