Caviar ?
Just been at the in laws and my wifes cousin and family were over, he works in Moscow and brought some Caviar with him, I personally didn't partake having tried it years ago and thought it was f*cking horrible, little ***** that burst and deposit salty flavoured fish juice in your mouth.
Anyone on here tried it like it, probably a long shot as A: Its disgusting and B: Scoobynet isn't probably the typical Caviar demographic, I know i am not.

I dunno J4CKO, I thought Snet was full of people who eat caviar, drink Cristal and light Cuban cigars with £50 notes....
I however have never partaken. Not really something I think I'm missing out on.

Yes. Not a big fan. Have tried it a few times but like olives (that everyone says you have to learn to like), i cannot gain a real taste for it. The Salmon type is the best imo, and is always nicer in the far east in my experience.
Give me some Foie gras anyday instead

The real stuff from sturgeons is VERY expensive. I love the stuff, I had some top notch stuff in the USSR in the late 80's. However I'm not that fussy, I like all the variants I've tried. Yum!
P.S. I also like anchovies, olives, capers, foie gras, whitebait. About the only thing I really don't like is celery, pears and walnuts that aren't pickled.

Tastes like soap, yuk
Olives are also disgusting and I have tried to like them so many times, my 5 year old love to play the "Close you eyes" game and pop one in my mouth when she and the wife are eating them

I've had Cavier (the obscenely expensive kind) and I didn't like it at all. I had some on a cracker that worked out at about £20 for that spoonful of salty disgustingness.

Caviar certainly doesn't appeal to me, and Fois Gras is just plain wrong IMO - force feeding a duck of goose so its liver sweels?! Not something that should be found on the menu in civilized (or any) countries IMO.
