Had my new TV for a couple of weeks now...
and loving it
After lot's of research (on here, AV Forums and elsewhere) I went for the Panasonic Plasma TX-37X10b. The picture looked good in the shop (John Lewis), but when I got it home it looked even better. Watching the nature programmes like "Yellowstone" or "South Pacific" I was blown away by the level of detail, natural colours and shape images. All this from SD Freeview.
I had looked at several LCD TV prior but to my eyes they all looked a bit artificial on the colour side. This may be down to the shop settings, but I never thought the pic was quite as good as the plasma.
Anyway, just thought I'd share
