Prepare youself for some big fat bald tatoo'd p1ssed up Geordies - oh and the blokes are just as bad as well

I've been once - the bigg market was full of drunken louts including me.

Bigg Market

if you want a bit more upmarket then go to Quayside but.... you are on a stag do when all said and done.

I'm sure a local will be along shortly.

You'll have a great time.

Daytime, start up in Jesmond on Osborne Road then move into Town. Some bars around the Gate but personally never go there as thats where the trouble seems to be.

Around the station area is The Long Bar, Revolution, The Attic, Tokyo and a few others.
Moving down from there is the Bigg Market and the Quayside with plenty of places to drink.

Don't forget in the middle of the 'Swan House' roundabout(every local knows what you're talking about when you say Swan House) is Linekers Bar!!

There's a couple of strip bars, For Your Eyes Only and I think its Blue Velvet or something on the top of Dene Street.

Apart from Jesmond, everything is within 10 minutes walking distance

What can you really expect through the day though? Most city centres will have plenty of bars, but they won't be as fun, busy etc. during the day.

Tbh, Richie may have given quite good advice so far, as it's a good while since I've been and had a night on the town. Just grew out of it, and I'm not even that old.

The Quayside is more refined I would say, well at least last time I was around that way.

Have a good time, but just don't go into Gateshead. (That's where I live)

Just been this weekend gone on a stag do for fri/sat, and i've been a few other times too. Always a top place with very friendly geordie lasses We went in loads of different bars/clubs can't remember all the names but as said Lineker bar, tiger bar, just start at one and wander in which ever takes your fancy. There all good.

Oh and Blue velvet has some of the nicest Lap dancers i've seen

Been there twice - once for a stag do, and secondly for a 30th birthday bash. Had a great time - our hotel was down by the quayside so inevitably we would start drinking in town at the top of the great big hill and work our way down to the quayside, ending up on the great big ship come nightclub - trying to get on/off the revolving dancefloor in there when p!$$ed is by no means easy, but the birds are worth it! Went to Newcastle races during the day of the stagg do but if it's cup final day then just I guess the daytime is sorted.

Have a top weekend, I know I did.

I went on my stag night in 2003 and we ended up in For Your Eyes Only - I definately recommend a visit to this establishment.

We also ended up on the Tuxedo Royal (The Boat) and had a laugh trying to get on and off the dancefloor (although I did think the boat was a bit tacky)

On the night, stick to the Quayside area. It's usually too busy for my liking now. A drawback from it's own success I guess.

For you eyes only is a decent place to be on a Stag do.

There are loads of decent places to drink, but unless you fancy a fight, stay away from the Big Market.

Cant remember the name of the pub, but it had what they called "The Dentists Chair". It was up the big market somewhere.
Basically you get put in a big chair, put your head back, then a few fit birds commence crawling over you pouring allsorts of concoctions down your neck!
When they lifted me out of the chair I fell to the floor, then I got kicked out for sleeping
