Smile Angels & Demons...

I'm really looking forward to watching this. I've read the book and thought it was in a different league to the DaVinci code. I thought the film version of the DaVinci code was good, i just hope they do this book justice!!!!

I thought the film version of the Da Vinci code was crap Too many changes to the plot, and none for the better
And they left out that superbly written scene where they visit with Paris' ladies of the night

I'll probobly still end up going to see this one though If only to see if they managed to do a better job of it

Have read both books found Angels and Demons to be fair better as well. DaVinci code was a really turd film though so i don't hold out much hope for this.

have to agree with above, Ron Howard fcuked the Da Vinci Code and probably will do the same with Angels.

They're both virtually identical plots anyway

I prefered Angels and Demons to the Da Vinci Code too, the Film of the code was poor next to the book, expect the same with Angels and Demons, will still go and see it to find out though

+1 Preferred Angles & Demons to Da Vinci Code (Book) but the last film was utter ****e and this new one only got 2 stars in a review in NOTW yesterday, so won't hold out much hope.

Cool

It hasn't had very good reviews. I thought the ending to A&D was utterly stoopid.

I'd still like to see it though.

They should make Deception Point, at least that is believable (apart from academic nerds defeating a team of Delta Force)

It's about discovering a meteorite under the arctic ice that has proof of extra-terrestial life on it, or so they think.

We had "Deception Point" as a talking book on CD last trip to the French house. Pretty good, if a little convoluted.

Isn't deception point where the find bugs in the meteor only to find they were planted and some team flying a pulse detonation jet killed most of them off?

Is this the 3rd book dan brown has written?

Im sure i read one about a massive super computer in the nsa that went belly up, i read so much it's hard to keep track of who has done what.

I may have read angels and demons, as i do remember reading a book about the illuminati.

Chap on R2 said this the other day "if you've seen the first one you don't really need to see the 2nd"

I actually like both of them. Good way to kill a few hours in front of the box anyway.

Enjoyed it myself - thought it was better than Da Vinci Code.

Haven't read either of the books, or seen either film. Does anyone think if I watch the films I might enjoy them, or are they rubbish?

I don't read alot, but tbh, I don't like to watch films of books I have read, as they always seem to be a let down.

i thought the film and the book were good in both cases,

infact when i saw the first film i walked out of the cinema and it wasnt for quite a while i realised it was fictional.
