Liverpool night life
It's my stag do next weekend and whilst I trust my best man implicitly, I would like some advice on night life in the capital of culture.
We are going Thursday to Sunday. 12 lads for the first two nights and about 20 for the saturday night.
Planning on a night on Albert Dock, a student type night and a big one on the saturday.
Any suggestions for bars / pubs / clubs gratefully received. Looking for busy places with plenty of scenery ;-]
Also will we have any problems getting into places in a group? We are all quite responsible but you know what happens on stag do's!!
Cheers

We are all mid to late 20's.
Looking for a mixture of classy bars and cheesy places. Anywhere that will be busy, will let a group of lads in and will be full of hot ladies.

Have no idea where to go. My other half had a night out for a stag do a few weeks back. Seemed to enjoy himself. Best to maybe find someone who goes there regular. They ended up somewhere that was ok, but had been advised to try somewhere else. Apparently it was rockin' in the other place.
Do a google search, people are always reviewing places in Liverpool, Manchester, Brum etc. Will find some good info.

Congratulations Si
I went to Liverpool on saturday and it was great. There's an excellent Tapas bar and we went in the Cavern club. Dont worry about places to go as there is loads of pubs next to each other. The one thing i did notice was there were loads of women on "hen" parties, not sure if they were fake ones or not but they seemed to be having a great time.
Click the link for live web cams down Matthew Street and watch on a night how busy it gets. Just remember to phone someone you know, get them to go on the site and see you all stood there waving

Have fun

I would not make a plan.
If you want a night on the Albert dock, then mooch about until you find a place you like, you can walk the pub/bar run on the dock in 30 mins.
As for the student night ?
I take it you mean cheap and chearful with plenty of skint birds who drink pints of "Over and Out" and until moving to Uni have never ventured out of their small village in Wales.
Well thats Slater Street then, again lots of bars within a 15 min walk take your pick.
Mathew Street is a cattle market.....fits the bill on some occasions.
The Living Rooms is a normal night out for me, with a trip next door later on to the Vampire Suite, a bit pretentious but OK, you will have problems getting in a few bars on the Albert Dock in groups of lads over 4-6, and the same in the Living Rooms, so split up.
You havent mentioned Strip Joints............whats wrong with you, is this mariage a smoke screen ?
Oh and be careful, dont get more than a fiver out of your pocket at one time, dont wear a watch of any value, dont keep all your money in one place, put notes in each pocket and keep a couple of pound coins in your sock as that is what the vending machines take in the Royal.
Also if your from out of town practice the accent for the bar, start every bar round order with...
(BE LOUD LIKE YOU OWN THE GAFF) Ay Ee R, Errrr......what woz I gonna say...Oh yer (add practiced bar round speach) and end with, Ta sound, take yer own love.
Never give the full round in one go, you must only be able to remember 2-3 drinks at one time, then when the bar staff say "Is that it", carry on with the rest of the order, its good to do this more than once.
When you are at the bar keep looking around you as though someone is after you, if you do as I say you will blend in fine.
PS. Dont get paranoid when you go the bogs and its full of fat slags pissin in the sinks, thats normal.
Enjoy.
PPS. If its this weekend it will be full of pi55ed up heros who have just left school, schools end this weekend they just need to go back for exams.

Also,
When looking for a cubicle to relieve yourself, you may find a group of 3 to 5 lads in there. It may look like a game their playing, who can lift the top off the cistern with their nose. It's not!!!!!!

Indeed, or a pilot, I have both ID cards if you want to borrow them.
But to be honest if you really want to pull, just tell em you have a job, thats enough.
