Must be something that will do it, one of those contact adhesives perhaps. Maybe that stuff in a tube called somrthing like " No Nails" would work.

Gripfill! You mght need the solvent free one (yellow tube), or you could melt the poly. As long as one surface is porous (the bare ply) it will stick, probably for ever.

Read the small print on the labels: Many grip adhesives will not properly glue polypropylene or polycarbonate type plastics. Think normal "no more nails" and gripfill is included in this. I had this issue when fixing my prikka strips- most stuff won't glue it or will glue it, but not strongly.

However, there are extra strong versions of no-nails which will (I know No-more-nails "all weather" exterior does specifically say it can do polycarbonate sheet, and takes 24hours to cure. Not sure about the other brands).

Tip: The bonding surface of the plastic sheet must be roughened down first with some sand paper to give a good key for the adhesive to stick to

Had an idea this might be the case , just went to bnq - didnt pick out the extra strong stuff , was assuming spray on evostik contact adhesive might be posssible

I really can't see how glue for glass out of a tiny tube works btw , but they suckered me for some 'leather'glue for me size 9's
