Question Anyone else kept a ridculous amount of old magazines??

Moving out this year and I've been told to clear out the boxes of magazines I kept. Can't believe how many I have!

Anyone want any of them? Might try and sell some of them

FHM issues 92-159

Performance Ford May98, June 98, Fast Ford Feb 98

Revs issue 1, 2, 21, 24, 25, 33, 37 & 89.

Fast Car - Feb, Apr, May, July, Aug, Nov & Dec 1999.
Apr 2001, Jan 2003, Jan 2004 & Aug 2005

Max Power!!!! I was a teenager
Apr, May & Jul 1996!
All 1999 apart from Feb
All 2000
Jan-Apr & Dec 2001
All 2002
Jan 2003

So who else is hoarding 2 tonnes of paper?

WOW!

I never kept magazines but I do have some very old books, which I won't want to part with.

You may get substantial amount for your collection on Ebay, Fantom.

I have got about 30 Performance car mags, first years worth of Max Power and Fast Car before they became chavtastic sh*te, used to get Autocar weekly and also every autotrader from when I was 17 to about 20.....including every copy that had a car of mine that I'd bought.

Good thing is they are at my mums so not cluttering up my house!

Ten+ years of Model Railway Journal, the first copy of which is now worth mega bucks

Some are probably worth a few quid now to collectors.

I used to have a huge collection of old mags from around 90-onwards, stuff like Crash! (spectrum magazine), Lets Compute, MTB UK, Autocar, Amiga Format and PC Pro.

The used to sit in my old room, but my mum went and binned them all a few years after I moved out Have a feeling the 'Crash!' mags would have been worth a few quid now.

I have accumulated loads of car magazines over the years (beginning with CCC from the late 1980s) but they never seem to be worth anything when I need more space. Only save the odd one now if it's got an interesting article.

Got about 8 years worth of Max Power upstairs with the odd Fast Car, Revs etc. Wasn't so much into the chavvy cars, I liked the boobies and "how to" guides.

Did have 10 years worth of lorry magazines also, but they got thrown out in 2 suitcases

I have every single issue of Jaguar Driver's Club magazine from 1985 to 2004

Not sure if there is any collectors on here who might want them

Also got some early Max powers and Fast cars somewhere - free to a collector

(Cortina sound off car, Black SD1, Project Thunder etc etc).

Wow, lots of mags there mate. I'm sure you will get something for the earlier ones.

I have every copy of Evo and the first 100 issues are now in my loft.

IIRC any 2000AD prog 300 and below is worth a bit, i've got an old collection and a comic dealer didn't seem too interested in much beyond 300. this was a couple of years ago now so might be a bit different now

i'm in the same boat Fantom, about 20 avon boxes full of old mags. randon Viz, FHM, Fast Car etc. i really should go through them and sort them out. one day
