My boy was just listening to a downloaded copy of Akon & the quality was very poor, so i went searching & found an album that was 134mb & the quality is top drawer.

Has anyone else ever found this ? Its the first time i have ever listened to a bit of music & realised that the quality was poor.

higher the bit rate higher the quality and bigger the file. i usally just go for the highest bit rate when rippping tracks from my cds.

If I download albums I try and get 224kb

Depends on the gear you have but typically you want 256k and above, i need 320k as my customs will pick up anything lesser.
