Can a speed camera catch more than one car at a time?

Can a speed camera catch more than one car at a time?
Its been about 3 weeks now and i am still waiting to find out if it got me. I know it did as i am pretty sure i was over 30mph but under 40mph. The limit is 30mph and the camera flashed.
There are 2 lanes of traffic, is it possible that someone else got flashed and not me. Can a camera catch more than one driver at a time?
And if it did get me how long can it take?

I think there is an issue if another car is in the shot. Don't quote me on this but I think that its not possible to prove BRD which car was over the limit.
This was the case on the normal 2 lane type cameras. Motorway ones are overhead so they are directional.

Car registered to company so more time allowed to deliver NIP.
Non-digital camera with no film.
Faulty camera flashing every vehicle irrespective of speed.
Car is marked as involved in serious crime so police do not want to tip driver off with trivial offences
Numberplate illegible.
Road markings indistinct.
etc. etc.

Right here we go "again"
5% plus 2 mph is how they work it out on Gatso's
As for catching 2 people it's at a 1 time "Unless" it's a duel carriageway then no!
2 weeks they have to inform you and 6 months to take ya *** to court! But have to notify you 1st (Within the 2 weeks!)
