Default 1 for the plane geeks

Anyone with an idea what the grey torpedo shape things next to the hanger are?

I'm thinking belly / wing drop tanks.

They're normally put somewhere safe/out of the way to sit/vent, which would typically be at the back/side of a HAS (hardened aircraft shelter).

Are they the Conformal fuel tanks ?

either that or similar sized FAST (Fuel and sensor tactical) Packs.

or maybe a TARPS pod from an F14

Dude, wtf?!

It's an F-15, so they are 600 gallon drop tanks!

The F-14 rarely used the TARPS anyway, and it would be below deck or on the plane, if you were ever to see it.

FAST packs are slimmer when viewed from the vertical, and again they usually are seen bolted on the F-15.

Defo Fuel tanks from that F-15. F-14's were US Navy Aircraft, and have been retired now.
