I have a 19" CRT monitor -- doesn't anyone want these things? I was going to offer it on freecycle or is it a trip to the dump?

Remember dumping an old TV (at the tip) and deciding the screen needed smashing. Half bricks were literally bouncing off it! Took a hefty throw from my dad (yes I was a little 'un) to smash it and BOY did it smash - great fun!

I did a demolition labouring job years ago - we took down a large section of a big building in Bristol. 3 months of pure destruction using diamond core drills, 25 tonne pressure bursters, hammer drills, wrecking bars and kangos. Really enjoyed it - but it was utterly knackering!
