Don't know, ask the driver, he is after all a multi rally champion! Everyone seems to think driving an F1 car is a piece of ****. I would love to see how the scoobynet folk get on in Formula Fords, let alone an F1 car! Plus, it was a drag race was it not, so full throttle yes? Top fuel dragsters never lose it in a straight line do they?

Bunch of 'know it all' uncle f*ckers!

I fully admit that am just not in your class in that respect.

The point I was making was what was quality about destroying an F1 Car. Did you find that entertaining?

Agree. I have never watched a car crash and enjoyed it. All that time and effort just destroyed in matter of seconds. That is some weird thrill to get and I don't think I will ever understand it. Having the odd tussle during a race I fully respect and enjoy, but to watch a car shoot of the road and meet it's maker is never a pretty site.

Chill out les.

He is obviously an amatuer when it comes to driving F1 car's. If he is stupid enough to get in one, floor it, lose control and smash it up. Then yes, I think it is rather entertaining. I realise its a shame to see a F1 car smashed but they are manufactured in a workshop, its not like someone died

Mmm, he was asked to by Renault and it was a drag race? Do you not floor the throttle in a drag race? Yes, he should have been a bit more careful, but I'm pretty sure he didn't do it on purpose!

I did not think I was all that worked up about it, just making a point that I don't find cars getting destroyed all that amusing. I found it easy to see that he got it wrong too.

This calls for race driver excuse 116, section b, paragraph 2:

The tyres were too cold.
