i am going on holiday in July and was wondering do i need get injections before i go and also do i require a visa i have heard a lot of horror stories about this at the airport.

Tried a useful website called google?

UK and EU nationals travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts ONLY, for a maximum of 14 DAYS, do not require a visa prior to travelling as a free entry permission stamp will be granted upon arrival.If you intend to travel outside of the above mentioned areas you MUST obtain a Visa.

As above. I didn't bother with any injections either.

Infact the only precautionary measure I took was sun-block.

I did try google but if you look further into it most people say they get pushed about at the airport and end up having to pay something or have there passports taken of them and then return to them when they get back of the coach for a bigger fee.

Can't say that it affected me in anyway. Two weeks all inclusive and not even a case of stomach ache.

When I landed, we were told you only need the visa if you wanted to go to see the rest of Egypt. On the way out we had to fill in a visa to leave, but that was also free.
