US take down the Pirates ....
Navy Seal snipers pick off the pirates and rescue the US Captain ...... nice one, now blast the cr4p out of their hide-outs on the coast!!

What they should do;
Recon the ports and hideouts, then JDAM/SDB them (to reduce civilian casualties of course);
Aerial mine the ports, or just sink one of the big boats at the entrance;
Then carpet bomb whatever is left standing!!

How true !And bring their entire extended family over too, at our expense.
Great to see this being dealt with by force though. Was never gonna be pretty.
However they have apparently promised "revenge" for the death of their fellow pirates. Could be interesting.

It's what happens after the yanks go messing about in some foreign country, then try to sweep it under the carpet, after they got their **** handed back to them!!

They should have shot the 4th pirate as well in my opinion. Totally useless to civilisation anyway. In fact most of the inhabitants of Somalia probably are too.

They have these on board the US Navy ships, they just need to get the hostages to jump into the water (hold up a sign saying "Phalanx - 15 seconds" in English) and then let rip with a 10 second burst into the boat.

Couldn't an Aircraft Carrier sit 50 miles offshore and just send the jets in to take the Pirate Boats out? Surely an F22 could get to an SOS appeal within minutes.

Seems many disgruntled natives are taking up the easy money route but I am sure a percentage have/had political reasons i.e. to stop foreigners dumping toxic waste of their shores and stealing their resources.
The whole reagon is one f'd up place now and it seems the US has stepped up to steal another countr.. I mean save the day, go team america!

Americans are the only ones so far to have the ***** to do anything about the pirates. Good on 'em for doing what they did.
As i posted earlier Lets hope the Pirates never get caught by a UK Navy, they claim asylum, new houses, phones, car, tv, medical and JSA!
This has little/nothing to do with toxic dumping - unless you can prove otherwise, these are tankers/passenger ships in transit heading from countroes with a future to countries with a future. Not to Somalia!
This is about Soimali thugs, high on Chatt who have raped and pillaged the countries resources, women and children, killed who they do not like and now wanting easy money and prepared to kill torture and kidnap to get it for little outlay.
3rd world scum at their worse and i am sure the bleeding heart will bklame everyone except the somalis themsleves, it is never the fault of people like this, they are all victims...
