Must be the week for it - sorry to hear of your loss - they really are one of the family. Sorry to see her sight was going and she needed glasses, or was it CATaracts?

Lost my Grandma this week - but at 92 I reckon she had a pretty good innings - and she was still living in her own home alone!

Sorry to hear your sad news,

Sam went peacefully at the vets three weeks ago, and I still hate walking his sister alone.

Sorry to read that Pimmers. It's the eyes that get you - well me anyway. That baleful, pleading look.

But, as said, 15 is a good innings. atb, david

Sorry to hear, he looked kind of shifty, in a good way.

We lost ours a year ago almost to the day, it gets easier, Molly was 15 too, a damn good innings for a hound, still trying to get another, spent a day with some friends and their Cockapoo (no really), reminded me how much fun dogs can be.

Sorry to read this, It's never nice to have a sad loss and I know some people say there only a pet but to me pets are part of the family and it would be like losing 1 of your own IMHO!

Sorry for the news and I hope things perk up soon for you all!

This picture well reminds me of my granddad lol Quality! he he

Time to repress another memory I guess.

Makes me sick thinking about never seeing her again.

Thank you so much for all the kind words.

Thats such sad news. Its a much harder loss than you ever think it will be when a pet goes, They are massive parts of most families.

Enjoy the time you had with her and take comfort in the fact you gave her an awesome life.

The more I think about it the more I'm happy with the way she went, I got to say goodbye the day before by making a fuss of her, my sister was home from Uni so got to see her and technically she died in her sleep !

So .. I mean you cant ask for much more with something like death.. I guess.. and as much as I would have like one more day.. I think I would have always wanted, one more day ..
