Not done the driving experience at the centre but I thought the showroom was good - a mix of all the new Mercs (including AMG's) and Smarts and many old Classics - interesting old racers, a Gullwing, the 600 6 door, etc. etc. and a potted history of Brooklands. A salesman will only talk to you if you seek them out. More 'museum' than 'dealer'.
Without wanting to sound like a tight-****, if you've got kids interested in cars and aren't too far away, it's a free morning out.
It must cost Mercedes a fortune to run, definitely a loss leader. I wonder if it will last.

Well last time I was there a chav family where leting their kids push model cars all over the clk 63 amg black's bonnet. It was sratched to pieces ion the end. PArents did not seem to think this was a problem though.

Hi,
Yes, I went to the Merc centre last year.
I drove the SL55 for around 60 minutes.
Although I got the experrince package, I personally thought that it was well worth it.
The experience isn't just about going around the track at full pelt, but you learn about how to control the car on the skid pan and how the cars electronics help you during various scenarios.
£470 pounds may be worth half a day, if you are able to swap between each of the AMG's, it may be worth asking.
The Brooklands museum is great, has some 'older' cars and it's nice.
If you want a more track day experience, then I would try and find something else for that kind of money.
Vj.

I went to a AMG Press track day last year, and was taken for a drive in a SLR, CLK63 Black and C63 saloon, they told me about MB world and I think you can drive different cars.
To feel the thunderous roar of that C63 once again would be well worth it. I love that car!
