Default Help with Chinese language

Hello, I am trying to purchace a car related product from eastern china and am having trouble with traditional chinese language. I have the details of the company in question but am having trouble contacting them and communicating. I have tried contacting a local chinese business link company but for a one off purchace they dont seem too interested. The product is exclusive to china due to its obscurity. If anyone can work in chinese and thinks they may be able to assist then please let me know.

I've delt with China for over 10 years now and not once had a language issue - if they are a kosher company then they tend not to have a problem speaking or communicating in English.

If this company tends to deal in bulk and/or think your just joe bloggs buying a one off then they might not bother.

Also unless you are sure about their credentials be very careful as most companies deal payment up front (TT) and people have been scammed and been burnt.

hi thanks for the response. The company in question is also a manufacturer I believe, and produces the product for sale in China and does not currently export as far as I am aware. The company seems fairly small in size and the product is quite specialised. I do not want to say too much about the product as I am hoping to be the first in the UK to have it fitted to my car, and would be interested in a future UK distribution deal if things go well? But first I need to get my hands on the product for real for testing purposes on my own car, as so far I have only been able to study the specs. photo's & you tube (China) video's

I'm not asking you what it is but if its cheap turbo's dont bother. They're not tested like the big manufactuers over here.

Whatever you do dont go spending a fortune, by a sample and test to destruction. even then your not guarenteed a quality product - trust your initial instincts, if its sounds too good to be true it usely is, still even though the pound has drpped against the dollar the're still bargains to be had.

its an electrical accessory really so its got a small number of moving parts and some electric control circuits. It has undergone a miniturisation process over its 18 month product development, and the current model seems vastly improved on the gen 1 & 2 type. the cost (from what I can gather) is between 6000 & 11000 juan depending on the level of miniturisation. so I think its quite an expensive product for the home market. I know about quality issues (I've had a chinese honda copy motorcycle!). If i'm honest its the concept I am more interested in and the way they have gone about making it work. I'm not planning on copying their product as thats likely to infringe on their rights to the design, but would adapt the one off I buy for my personal use in the uk as its pretty specific to the chinese market at the moment. If you are really interested send me an e-mail & I I will send you the details of the product.
