Question Anti Freeze

Quick question ....... take 2 year AntiFreeze.

Does the 2 years start from its manufacture or when it is mixed with water and put in an engine?

I'm guessing it is its life whilst it is working?

Reason for the question is because my local department store is selling off its AntiFreeze Concentrate at 70p a Litre and I have just bought a few gallons!

I cannot resist dipping my bread when a bargain appears!

I'm sure it'll work brilliantly for the next 6 months, replace it with new stuff in the Winter though! HTH

I would have thought its from the date it starts working, you know like wizzing about in the engine and that.
If not then there are car yards full of fords and hondas all over the UK that are going to need a bit of anti freeze draining!!!!!

Don't forget to bleed the tank with the sensor disconnected before you start the engine!
