I'll quite happily sit through 3-4 hours of Lord of the Rings or similar, but 10 seconds of ordinary TV has me heading for the internet, apart from Top Gear, Grand Designs etc.

If after 15 minutes nothing is happening then I get bored and watch something else.
I hate films that take half an hour to give you a clue what is supposed to be going on. By then I am thinking about something else.

Depends on the film, if its got guns, cars and explosions or martial arts then I might make it to the end, wife likes romantic comedies and to be honest I usually get bored and end up falling asleep!

Having said that I might have missed some really good films if I hadnt controlled my goldfish like attention span. "Letters from Iwo Jima" which is so slow at the beginning but an absolutely amazing film.

Once I have done I turn it off, even if it cost 15 quid in a hotel....

7 minutes max.

Oh, were you talking about normal films, oops, sorry.

Depends how good the filum is, innit?

If it is cwap, I have no patience to carry on waiting for something exciting in it. I have to find something else to engage me; like Scoobynet Then again, we all have our own definitions for what is exciting to us, on individual basis. <shrugs>
