When the Chinese first appeared on the world scene, their athletes/swimmers were setting fantastic new world records, then all of a sudden they disappeared, when people started questioning these results, around about the same time that East Germany collapsed. I wonder where the sports scientists/ doctors all went after the Eastern block breakup, guess?
