Default Confused...Gyrocopter 'murder'??

Confused a little with this 1

BBC NEWS | England | Coventry/Warwickshire | Man on gyrocopter murder charge

Murder to me means planned intentional life taking, was this not just an accident?

We'll have to wait to see what the prosecution say to be sure why they're classing it as such.

Curent rumour mill is that Mr Morse went to the airfield to "remonstrate" with the pilot since the 'copter had shadowed a few hunts recently and been reported for low flying. Maybe Mr Morse walked into the rotor arc, but the BIB obviously think it was a little more involved.

All guesswork until the official statement comes out though.

Bizarre; You get people who "murder" others all the time with cars, yet your lucky to get a careless driving charge pinned on them.

I suspect it'll drop to a manslaughter charge.

I have to admit when I saw it on the news ticker last night, I said the same thing. Did he REALLY plan and land the copter on the guy, all planned out etc.... Bizarre aint the word.

Ali, I would expect so too mate.

All seems a bit peculiar to me too. Maybe he did attack the man with the chopper!, or tried to frighten him with it.

Maybe the copter was armed with AGM-114 Hellfire missiles or perhaps a 30mm chain gun ?

Would explain why it was flying so low; with carrying that much weight!
