P60's ?
Wondered if anyone on here knows about P60's (tax, pay, employer document)
I left my last job in July 2008 - I have a P60 that is for "tax year to 5th April 2008"
Is that my latest one? Are they issued every tax year and / or whenever you leave a current job ?
Just need to know if the one I have is my latest one or I need to request a new one from my last employer (if they indeed do get issued when you leave a job)
If they only get issues at end of every tax year (April) then it is the latest and I guess another / new one will come through in April 09 ?
Thanks for any help.

i think your p45 is given in instead of your p60 when you leave a job
so p60's are issued at the end of every tax year by your empoyer, but if you leave your employment, you will get a p45, which I think is basically a final p60 -- if that makes sense

Yes, he is.
P45 if you leave a job. P60 at the end of each tax year. However if you left in July 2008, you will not get a P60 from your old employer, but you will get one from your new employer and it will show what your earnings were from your previous employment, plus your current earnings in your new job, in this tax year.
Christ, how many times did I say employ(ment)

You cannot get a replacement P60 however your employer can supply your pay & tax details on headed paper.
HMRC Website is getting better too!
