Default Advice - can a company follow through with a "if you miss this appointment" fee ?

If a company has a policy of charging (£25) for a missed appointment - how legal is this ?
My wife was due to go to a casting session in London tomorrow but has flu so can't.
We paid £40 already as a deposit for them to put her details (pictures / bio etc) onto their website (they cast people in commercials / tv work etc)

All info ahe has from them is electronic - with includes a T's & C's which does state a 24 hour notice for canceling appointments or a £25 fee is applicable.
These T's & C's have not been signed (nothing has been signed)

So if we wanted to dispute the £25 fee then can we and what's the legal stance on something like this ?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

Default

if they sent her the T&C's and she agreed to them by confirming her attendance then the £25-00 is payable.

Not everything has to be in writing......
