I know how u feel mate, at my mates the other day and 3 little ******* sitting on the bonnet. Think they were cold and just wanted to get warm tho. know how they feel in this weather
Maybe some kind of wax so they keep sliding off.

Theres a ginger feker next door to me (cat that is
) ,he waits till you've washed and polished the car then tramples from bonnet to boot 
.I'm pretty sure the ginger feker does it to wind me up 
.

had that problem with my neighbours cats huddling round the scoop and ffs dont polish the bonnet, they'll slide and leave scratches on the bonnet.

Agreed.
Yes it is very annoying but hardly the end of the world, they don't know if they are causing any damage do they?
The kindest and most efficient way to get rid of them would be a plug in high pitched cat deterrant maybe like these ones and starting at £15 it's hardly going to break the bank.

And no its not the end of the world,there are bigger probs..
But would you like to give me the £400 for the wing and bonnet to be painted??
They have slid down the bonnet and looks like they have tried to jump onto the wing and misjudged,claws out to stop the fall,hence scratches down the wing..
The ultasonic way seems best..As i cant shout in my sleep in the middle of the night.
As in the OP,shooting them or kicking them up the @rse is just childish and cruel,and is not an option.

I have the same problem, sneeky ******* wait know to wait till I've gone into the house before jumping on and jump off as soon as they hear me open the front door. They love having a snooze either behind the scoop or if it's a cold day, in front of it.
The horrible little things use our garden as a toilet as well. So last week I ordered some of those cat deterrents for the garden and I also got one of those scatter guns for 'shooting' them off the bonnet...
They certainly don't like the scatter gun!

I used to have a similar problem with a neighbour's cat so i bought a super soaker type water gun. When the cat went anywhere near my car it got squirted with a jet of water. It didn't harm the cat in any way but it soon learned to stay away from my car.

Those that say air rifles etc - LeeMac is right infraction or not.
My cat sits on both my cars and although there are paw prints I've not once seen any scratches.

The electronic deterrents I got from that same site have a money back guarantee, if they haven't worked after a month of using them you send them back for a refund. Thought I may as well try them.
I agree about the water pistol though, in the past I've used a flower sprayer thing, the problem with those is that if you have just cleaned your car and a cat's sitting on it then you end up with water all over your car as well as claw marks from the startled cat

We never actually hit the cats in question with the water, but it was enough to stop them coming in the garden altogether no more s*it under the trampoline either!!)
Super Soakers work & are fun in the right hands!!!

Just wanted to report back about this.
The electronic deterrents have been in my garden for just over a week and whilst I've not been glued to the window watching for cat action I can confirm that they haven't done a single poop in the places they used to all the time. In fact, yesterday I witnessed one of the major problem cats take the difficult journey of going across the tops of all the fences just to get round my garden rather than drop down and walk across it like they used to.
Oh and that scatter gun works to! After a few uses they now don't run and sit on the bonnet the moment I've gone inside after a drive.

I had cats ****ting in my garden problems and I was told they cant stand the smell of Jeyes fluid. Scrub your drive etc with that and they wont come within 10 foot of your scoob and will probably sit on your neighbours instead!!
