"I thought it would be good to have a baby."
I love the comment regarding how to fund this child - its quite clear who will be funding this and the umpteen other kids they will have.
I really don't get this birth rate dropping business - having babies for some is clearly quite profitable.

The welfare state was meant as a safety net originally for those who couldn't work, or find work or needed support for a short period of time. These days it's a career choice!
But look at their aspirations. I work with youngsters and it amazes me some of the things that come out of their mouths. They see it as a right to money and a house and have no concept that it's people like you and I who are paying for it. They think the Government prints the money to dole out to them.
It's lack of aspirations and 2 generations of people before them on benefits which creates this sort of mess in the first place, and that's not easy to rectify!

Even easier. Use the laws that are there.
Girl is underage. Statutory Rape. Start locking the chav filth up instead of rewarding them.
Follow that with stepped child support.
Make marriage (legal not necessarily religious) useful again. No single/unworking parent to be given a house. Live with mum and dad like you should do or prove at least one of you is contributing somethign to your up keep.
that's just for starters.

Maybe but I quite like the novel idea of paying for your own family and not others. After a while the tax burden would drop, followed by tax cuts* and the possibility of more suitable parents being able to afford kids will arise.
*in an ideal world.
