Default Boxes on back seat of car

Hi All,

can anybody think of a quick cheap idea for securing multiple boxes onto the back seat of a car ??

Needs to be practical and easy to use.

no, the boxes range from really small to really large, and the people carrying them are coming out with the H&S stuff.

Expanding foam;

Seriously though I would think lumps of foam that can be pushed between seatback of front seat and box would be reasonably practical. I am always surprised though at the cost of foam.

Tell them to get on with it or you'll replace them with cheap labour from the continent?

Halfords sell an elasticated cargo net with about 8 hooks round its edge. I have one in the boot and its great for securing stuff.
Elasticated cords and bungees etc will do you no real good in an accident, but it stops stuff sliding around whilst driving.

Cargo net as suggested or get 2 or 3 of these at a size that just fit on the back seat with one end against rear of front seats. Then get some grey underfelt stuff to jam around boxes. dl
