Jade Goody dying from cancer
just read this morning that her cancer is terminal as it has spread to other parts of her body and organs.
what a shame
i know she is not the most popular girl in the world but how awful for her and her two small boys.
i cant believe that she ignored the warning signs earlier but i suppose at her age she didn't think she was old enough to get it

Yes, its a shame, but its no more a shame than for the the thousands of other people who have terminal cancer, and their friends and family, yet who manage to deal with it with significantly more dignity.

i think she has been very dignified during this, unbelievably. i cant bear to watch her on tv though as she is so irritating.
i know there are many other in her situation but they are not in the public eye. good job on her being honest and admitting she is allowing her life to be followed by the cameras for cash. she needs to support herself through this and wants to make sure her kids are looked after

Sad for the kids but it means they will get a much better, normal, out of the public eye upbringing now.
I dare say they will turn out a lot better with a new family or even their father (who seems an OK chap) than they would have being brought up by Goody.

A final thought - she can't be that financially destitute, didn't she just buy a Nissan GTR?

Going to India to be on Big Brother soley for the purpose of furthering her crappy image, leaving her kids in England, when she knew she may have serious cancer and that every day counted is not being a good mother

Oh, and she's loaded, it is Katona who is bust.
Goody drove around WITH HER KIDS IN HER CAR without a licence and without insurance for years until someone realised that she had never even sat a driving test.
She somehow got away with that as well

I feel very sorry for her now knowing that she has a terminal illness, that really is an awful thing to be told about yourself. Her personality should not enter into all this either.
I was disappointed to see the negative posts, not much milk of human kindness there!

if i had a daughter i would hope she read about Jades cancer as it brings home to you how ignorance is not always bliss.
until Jade was diagnosed a lot of girls thought it only happened to older women. many more girls are tested now and hopefully, due to Jade making her illness public she will save lives, long after she has died

For those who negged my post, here is a thought. If it were some random male celebrity, no one would give a flying fuck - women, always the victims. I'm sure that will upset a few people on here, but its the reality of our society these days.

it doesnt matter who it is.
but it just happens that she is in the public eye and she has brought the very serious condition out into the open.
she admits that she is going public because she needs the money, at least she is honest and sincere

The only issue i had with it was the various front pages of celebrity tat mags and tabloid papers with "I'm hidign my cancer from the kids" emblazoned across it.
Really? Being on as many front pages as possible is hiding it then is it?
Would have liked to see her supporting Marie Curie, Cancer Research etc in a really prominent way rather than that.
Feel bad for her and the family though. Terrible thing.

Regardless of who she is in the public eye, she is a human being, and in reality I dont think I would wish such suffering on anyone.
