Don't get me wrong, he looks great but with a bit of snow on, coming out of the gloom, its a Wolf, or perhaps a Wolf H2, Like a Hummer, not the full on spec, but one down, "Wolf Lite".

Yeah, he went straight to it then indicated to me he'd found it by way of putting his nose on it.

Joking aside though it is a good party trick when you hide someones car keys in the garden and he tracks them.

Great as long as he finds them, or you have guests for the night eh lol.

Serious though, getting ours interested in things like that is effort I have to say. We have cracked retrival now, which is a relief!

That is why I choose the keys from the bird with the massive chebs everytime.

That type of training is serious and does take a fair amount of time/commitment. If you work full time and get other things done at the weekends it doesn't leave a lot of time left, certainly in the winter. It also isn't much use really for a pet dog either.

Good obedience and things like retrieval are handy to have on a pet dog.

I know just what you mean snazy !!! I will get some of our Mals in the morning. Isn't funny that although they are white in places they look positively filthy against the crisp white snow ! Walking aint much fun when they start to pull ( cats etc ), I was skiing this afternoon

lol yeah, in fairness Tuvaaq is filthy, but yup, its like a washing powder comparison advert seeing them in the snow lol.
Walking has been excellent fun , they are both pretty good on the lead, but like you say cats can cause some unexpected pulling, but the Gencons were on, and will be on today too.
We were snowboarding with ours lol.

Look forward to the pics
