Default English Accents

Just been watching Football Factory again. I just love the Cockney accent "Don't facking get lemon wit me son!"

What's your fav/worst english accents.
Worst for me is the West Country, is it me or do they sound like farmers
Close second has to be the Brummie accent.

Cockney accent windes me up. Can't stand it.

In a woman, I like a Gordie accent. Not a broad one, but just like Cheryl Tweedy's. Being from the North East myself, I quite like it.

2nd, is a nice Scouse accent. Again a nice soft Scouse, not broad.

That girl on X Factor - Cheryl Tweedy

I can't abide her accent. When the wife wants to watch I have to leave the room.

Pretty much every actor in Hollyoaks has a dreadful accent.

Quite like welsh but softly spoken and not a Cardiff accent.

As does soft Southern Irish and even soft Welsh sometimes.

Mockneys need putting down, Brum sounds thick and Scouse just can#t be trusted. Forced posh is also nasty too though.

Prince Philip remarking that his "trizers" are a little tight is always good.

I hate the mockney accent with a passion. And the fact that someone, somewhere, has decided it's almost de riguer foer adverts does my head in. Even the new government advert for healthy living is voiced over by a mockney......

I HATE the Belfast accent in women, and the number of sweaties on the BBC gets me going...........if you want to talk in a sweaty accent, get back to sweaty-land!

I wonder just how many people with ENGLISH accents are presenting on STV?

The latest one to get me going is the almost constant use of a BROAD Lancashire acccent....they all sound like Hilda fappin Baker

I don't like the Scouse accent much, which is ironic as anyone south of Stoke probably thinks I'm a Scouser

I also have an intense dislike of the Stoke accent which is just odd (they say "eent eet" instead of "isn't it" for starters).

Mockney is annoying and Brummie sounds gormless.

Scotch is nice as is Geordie (by which I mean anyone from anywhere in the north-east) and I like a nice, light Welsh accent (not a full on barely speaks a word of English version)

My all time hate has to be Brummy. Like a soft scouse and geordie like others have said.

Also like a soft Glasgow accent most out of the scottish ones(being from that area myself)...not a fan of the broad Edinburgh accent.

I know the title says English but I do love a nice Irish accent, then the North East, and believe this one or not I do like mild brummie in a lady, although it could be argued thats simply impossible
