Crazy dog people!

Awwww.... what a lovely cloned baby Lancelot
20,000 homeless dog were put down! That is terrible. They should have adopted a homeless dog IMHO. Its natural to get attached to the pets, and they are missed like anything by their owners and servants ( servants in cats' case). But the law of nature could have been accepted, and some homeless lickle n' cutie doggy could have found a new home. Nevermind.

Obviously they have the money to be able to do this, which is nice However, how the heck do they know, for absolute certainty that this isn't just a yellow lab puppy that some chappy has picked up and passed off as a clone of their beloved pet?

Yes, its all relative to their wealth and how they thought about Lancelot. It is a drop in the ocean compared to paying to fly in to space or I'm sure many other 'firsts'.
I would like to know what proof they have though too.

At that price they are likely to believe that every move that puppy makes is an exact copy of their previous dog, come what may!
I feel far more concerned about all those poor dogs which have to be put down just for committing the sin of existing!

As others have said, they could have given a home to a little yellow lab puppy who didn't have a home and donate the 150k to the animal rescue center they got this puppy from.
I wonder if they are stupid enough to think that this new puppy will know who they are as it was a clone
