I love my country
Goodbye to my England, So long my old friend
Your days are numbered, being brought to an end
To be Scottish, Irish or Welsh that's fine
But don't say you're English, that's way out of line.
The French and the Germans may call themselves such
So may Norwegians, the Swedes and the Dutch
You can say you are Russian or maybe a Dane
But don't say you're English ever again.
At Broadcasting House the word is taboo
In Brussels it's scrapped, in Parliament too
Even schools are affected, staff do as they're told
They must not teach children about England of old.
Writers like Shakespeare, Milton and Shaw
The pupils don't learn about them anymore
How about Agincourt, Hastings , Arnhem or Mons ?
When England lost hosts of her very brave sons.
We are not Europeans, how can we be?
Europe is miles away over the sea
We're the English from England, let's all be proud
Stand up and be counted - Shout it out loud !
Let's tell our Government and Brussels too
We're proud of our heritage and the Red, White and Blue
Fly the flag of Saint George or the Union Jack
Let the world know - WE WANT OUR ENGLAND BACK !!!!

he`s going to achieve zilch but he`s letting it be known like alot of the people not just in england but the entire UK that he`s pissed off with the way things are going. cant blame the lad TBH this place is a bloody shambles

Being scottish and british as well, i can only say that all thet you moan about has only got ourselves to blame.
To long this country has been a easy touch and helped far to many others in trying to hold on to the great british empire ways, we should all be looking after Britain first and F**k the rest of them.
This couls go on all night about this and our tree hugging, health and safety and you cant call him that attitude. i will leave it for others to carry on.
Just to say i am fiercly proud to be scottish but also proud to be part of Great Britain, also proud to serve this country in whatever shi*hole they send me to next.

its no different to you guys down south TBH, we pay the same taxes were stuck in the same recession, we suffer the same PC bull$****, we suffer "most" of the same laws, theres not much of a difference TBH, at least you guys get the better weather

I aint pissing and moaning fella i happen to love my contry and its going to rat **** through no fault of my own and there is nothing i can do about it.
My be if our government didn't spend billions on immigration or fighting crime that immigrants commit we wouldn't be in the state we are in now.
I know how this reads and im not a racist and i never will be as the post header says i love my contry, i have been to Iraq & Afghan putting my life on the line for my country.

That said I would love to see it back to it's old self, cant see it happening though.
Nearly 2m unemployed, country in a right mess deja vu, just like 30 years ago..
Shame there's no Thatcher to rescue the country this time (flame suit firmly on ready for those that still cant get over her)
It's Australia Day today, bank hol and the whole country is out celebrating their country, it reminds me of the Silver Jubilee, but they do it year in year out, they are so proud to be Australian and of their country, you just dont know how far removed from the UK those feelings are, every town and city is arranging events, flags everywhere, parties etc etc.
There's no pride in the UK, dont get me wrong they have their problems here like anywhere else but the pride they show is quite incredible, we should have a UK day......unlikely to happen eh !!

I always say English when asked, or have to fill in an form that asks for Nationality.
I ain't European, I'm English through and through,
