Question Eye Tests - Company Pays?

Been told that your employer must pay for your eye test if you use Display Screen Equipment for more than a few hours per day?

Is this correct?

i have just had mine done and i got a voucher which entitles you to an eye test to see if glasses are needed for DSE work.If this is the case you may also be entitled to a voucher towards the glasses from your employer. But if the optician says you only need reading glasses then its down to you to pay the full cost of the glasses as was the case with me

Cheers, reading glasses are only £1 ... I think I can stretch to that

They probably have an optician available where I work.
