A Canadian girl working as a receptionist where i work has just found out she cannot reapply for her job/sponsorship because it has to be offered to UK/EU citizens first - UK i can understand - EU, beggars belief.
She is well educated, smart and generally a good decent person and i do doubt she has ever murdered anyone. She lives with her English boyfriend and the plan to marry. She has her leaving do tonight and will return to Canada shortly as she cannot afford to stay without a job and her visa will shortly expire and she does not want to break the laws!
Yet we let in anything the rest of Eurpoe does not want and are a haven for criminals - We are talking about GREAT BRITIAN here, not some 3rd world country - although this is what we may well become...
